Nicholas Chan (Born in 1991) is a Malaysian Chinese footballer who is currently playing for the Kelantan President's Team.
Chan attended Sri KDU Smart School in Malaysia,at the age of 13. He played for the school team and he also participated in the Gothia Cup that was held in Gothenburg, Sweden.Chan attended several trials including West Ham United, Stoke City and Cardiff City. But none of his trials were successful.
Chan was part of the Kelantan FA President's Cup Team that won the 2011 President Cup Malaysia beating MP Muar FC 2-1 in the final.Chan is the son of the current Cardiff City chairman and Malaysian Businessman, Dato Chan Tien Ghee.During his childhood time, Chan had join a training workshop with Michael Chopra.
Nicholas, 19 years old son of a club Cardiff City, Datuk Chan Tien Ghee registered in Kelantan Provident League, but will be listed in groups of Kelantan Super League players, has become the latest betting Kelantan team in pursuit of three trophies that targeted other Cup title defense Malaysia this year. Playing in the position of defense, Nicholas is still young but more meaningful experience, having tried his luck with the club West Ham, Burnley as well as in Australia, will be the main attractions of Kelantan football fans for this season.
