Muhamad Khalid Jamlus


Muhamad Khalid Jamlus (born February 23, 1977) is a footballer of Malaysia, which currently play as attacker of Perak FA in just concluded Super League. In 2007/08 season despite hit by several injuries, he managed to scores 13 goals and once againt topping the local player goal scorer chart.

He is a former member of the national team of Malaysia and has also played for the pre-Olympic team. In December 2004, he signed for Selangor FA. It is among the most controversy football transfer in Malaysia very much related to the rivalry between Perak and Selangor. Despite two disappointing seasons with Selangor without score any single goal, Khalid resume the love affairs with the silver state, Perak by accepting their offer at the start of 2006/07 season. He done remarkably well and became top goalscorer in the league for local players in two seasons running.

Although, that achievement still not convincing enough for national coach that always overlook his on pitch ability with to his off pitch behavior. Once marked as "Perak's Bad Boys" for skipped training and flamboyant lifestyle.

He started wearing national jersey in 1997 World Youth Cup, where his club level striking partner V. Saravanan accompanying him to lead Malaysia team attacking department. From there, his name always on - off Malaysia team sheet thanks to his disciplinary problem and series of injuries.
